Chief Executive Officer
Mel founded Ash & Gold Consulting with a belief that every good thing takes process and brings nearly two decades of experience in operations, optimization, and organizational strategy. Her work centers on helping purpose-driven organizations build structure that creates clarity, sustainability, and forward momentum. Known for blending systems thinking with relational intelligence, Mel leads organizations and entrepreneurs in designing environments that support clear work, strong alignment, and lasting impact.
Kristen Rankins, PMP
Chief Infrastructure Officer
Kristen has been part of Ash & Gold since its inception and brings over 12 years of experience building and stewarding the financial and operational systems that allow organizations to run soundly and responsibly with integrity at scale.
With master level training in finance and accounting, she oversees Ash & Gold’s internal infrastructure, including systems, workflows, and financial operations, ensuring the firm’s foundation is compliant, stable, and positioned to faithfully support its mission. Highly sought after for her precision and steadiness, Kristen ensures the infrastructure behind the work remains consistent, resilient, and ready to support both internal operations and client engagements as needed.
Petra Pindar, JD
Director of Client Relational Alignment
Petra earned her law degree nearly 15 years ago and brings over a decade of experience supporting organizations through moments that require both honesty and care. She has led high-stakes organizational investigations and facilitated resolution across large, complex institutions, helping teams navigate conflict without losing trust or dignity. Known for her steady presence and relational insight, Petra brings clarity, compassion, and firm accountability to her work, guiding difficult conversations with warmth and confidence.
